Hotel Santa Marina - Venice

There was lots of food for breakfast, it was excellent. The a double room was splendid with a spa bath.

Wonderful ideal central hotel with welcoming staff. Guest room where smaller than suggested in photos. Marvellous and amazing location in a quiet area and fairly quiet area: D

Breakfast - the worst and most unimaginative breakfast I have had at any hotel anywhere in the world.Even the bowl of fruit salad was from a tin!!!

Good service and great breakfast, location is good as well, easy to go shopping and access to restaurants.

There is no ventination machine at bath room, easy to get wet and humid after bath.

Quiet & splendid room where smaller than suggested in photos. A personal safe, an air conditioning and a mini-bar were convenient. Wonderful location; perfectly fine staff. Nice restaurant at a medium distance from the hotel.

The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was adequate and the lounge area very relaxing.

Beware the annex, located right next to a stepped bridge over a canal, not much sleep to be had. Rooms in the hotel itself would be ok, however the annex has small, noisy rooms with no lift and the stairs are steep. The hotel was tricky to find and there was no internet kiosk.

Charming atmosphere with excellent breakfast

I really enjoyed the elegant public areas that provided a cute vibe. The breakfast was good, with freshly baked pastries and made-to-order options like pancakes and scrambled eggs. I felt that the lack of basic amenities in the room could be improved for a more comfortable stay.

Great location 5 minutes walk to St Marks square or Rialto bridge. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were traveling with two children and the quad room was fine.

Handy central location

Beautiful rooms, quite spacious, even for solo travelers; staff was extremely helpful; breakfast buffet was pretty good, though no hot foods!

Wifi is only in the lobby! You have no wired or wireless internet available in your room- very surprising for a four star hotel. Also, the place is quite difficult to find, though I think that's true of many/most hotels, given Venice's small, labrynthe-like streets. Definitely print out a map for your arrival.

A charming escape in Venice

Woke up to the enchanting sounds of a nearby cafe, while charming staff greeted me with tips for exploring secret corners of the city. My room exuded cozy elegance.

verry big rooms and clean.

no wi-fi in the rooms.and the wi-fi in the lobby was poor. the breakfast was so poor. no value for money.

I appreciated the elegant public areas of Hotel Santa Marina, easily accessible and provided a cute atmosphere. The location near the charming square allowed for peaceful strolls that were perfect for a senior traveler like myself.

Better room amenities for comfort would be great.

Exellent accommodation in a unique area. Great breakfast and breakfast facilities. Generally an elegant experience.

Rooms need some updating without changing the elegant old world charm
